Challengers hits the sweet spot | First Review

Challengers crafts an intoxicating, sex-soaked, tennis love triangle that’s partly an edge-of-your-seat sports thriller and partly a story of interpersonal romantic power dynamics. The tantalizing trio of Zendaya, Mike Faist & Josh O’Connor play a group of young tennis players over the course of 13 years as they compete for each other hearts and Grand Slam titles. The latest movie from Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Bones and All) has been one of the most hotly anticipated films of the year, but was it an ace or double fault?
