HBO's update of the classic Alan Moore graphic novel comes from Lost and The Leftovers creator Damon Lindelof. 2019's Watchmen takes place over 30 years after the events depicted in the original comics, focusing on a policewoman from Tusla named Angela Abar (Regina King).
